We are delighted to announce the release of a new single called “Vanished (for Eric)” on December 1st 2023. It’s now just over a year since Eric passed away and there have been many tributes paid to our brother both written and recorded. We have waited until now before releasing this single to allow space for the other beautiful material to be enjoyed and his memory to be celebrated.
We said a great deal about what Eric meant to us and our wonderful fans at the time of his passing and we now want to formally remember the incredible contribution that he made to our lives, our music and obviously our humour.
Vanished (for Eric) is an instrumental version of the track Vanished taken from our album Caught By The Machine. Eric not only recorded the incredible guitar tracks and solos but he also featured on Violin on the record. There was enough material, that did not feature in the original mix, for Steve Anderson and our brilliant producer John Mitchell to create this new version of the song. Steve has added some new guitar and keyboard parts as well as trawling through the various takes that Eric recorded, bringing them to life in this new mix. The new single showcases the formidable talent that Eric possessed and we hope that you enjoy it!
